History
The Bakehaus was born out of passion, friendship, and a shared love for honest baking. Founded in 2020 by former baking school colleagues, we turned our dream into reality when the school closed its doors.
Nestled along Owen Road, our cozy shophouse has been home for nearly six years — where the aroma of freshly baked sourdough fills the air each morning. Staying true to tradition, we craft naturally leavened, additive-free breads using freshly milled grains and a 16-hour fermentation for rich flavour and texture.

More than a bakery, The Bakehaus is a space for people to gather, learn, and connect through our artisanal breads and workshops. As the flagship store for Lescure, a renowned French butter brand, we uphold craftsmanship and authenticity — blending old-world charm with modern creativity.
